Reclaiming intentional movements and stretches as worship postures, Holy Yoga is a safe space for exploring wholeness in your body and expanding your worship through movement. Practice breath control and body awareness in this community of Christ-followers and be strengthened through moderate activity.
There are many styles of yoga classes, but unless otherwise noted, we will primarily be practicing "FLOW" - a style that involves steady moves paired with breath. Through this regular practice, you'll grow in strength, flexibility and focus. And my hope is that through this directed time, you'll grow in profound awareness of your Creator's delight over you!
I offer modifications and advancements, but please take a personal assessment of your own body and any limitations you may have (and possibly consult your doctor!) so you can plan to adjust your own practice as needed.
If this will be your first time practicing with me, please arrive 5 minutes early to sign a waiver. Wear comfortable clothing for movement and bring your own yoga mat. Also helpful but optional: hand towel, yoga strap and blocks.
